Water is a commodity that is transmitted and flows much like electricity. Like electricity, the water industry has their own vocabulary to describe how much, how fast, what capacity, and the overall capability of our system.

To the layman, much of what we do is unfamiliar, especially the words we use to describe how we transmit and measure the water and sewer service we provide.
